In 2016 HE Honey Company was started by our family as a learning opportunity for our granddaughters (Hallie and Emilie) hence the name HE Honey.  However, Papa, became increasingly intrigued by the way the honey bee maintained life.  Although the honey bee is a very small creature, it plays a vital role in our environment.  We have two main goals:  1) to produce and provide the finest tasting, natural Texas honey in it's purest form and (2) to educate people on the importance of the honey bee's sustainability in our community.

Our honey is harvested by our family.  Our process includes harvesting the honey off the hive, bringing it in for extraction, lightly straining and finally bottling.  Our processing is the preferred method by most local beekeepers and is often referred to as "Natural Raw Honey".  Most honey found in your local grocery store is provided by honey packers.  They buy honey in bulk and their process includes heating  to temperatures greater than 140 degrees and then running it through a high density, high pressure filtration system.  This process nearly removes all pollen and destroys the natural enzymes, vitamins and antioxidants in the honey.
